Happy Thanksgiving!

"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name." Psalm 100:4.
It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already here! It is the time to cook turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and pumpkin pie. More importantly, it is the time to spend with those we love and thank the Lord for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon us. We have so much to be thankful for!

I played my harp for the Christmas open house of a beautiful clothing store.
I also had the opportunity to play background music for the Christmas open house of a very elegant furniture store.
These are the window displays of the furniture store.

Trip to Tennessee

This past weekend, I was able to go to Tennessee to visit friends, and attend the Mission Conference at Temple Baptist Church. It was such a spiritually uplifting time in my life. It is truly a blessing to have spiritual family all around this world, and a wonderful Heavenly Father that unites us in Him. May each of our hearts be convicted to tell others about our wonderful Saviour and the invitation given in Romans 10:9, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

This was one of the first stops in our hike for pictures.

We passed many gorgeous cascades, but these are a few of my favorites

Teresa's Visit

Teresa Clark came to visit me for a few days. We had so much fun going to a cooking class, revival at my church, and Cedar Point. There were 13 of us that met up at Cedar Point. Included was one of the Crown College travelling trios and some friends that live in Ohio. We had a wonderful time of fun, and fellowship. My favorite rides were the Dragster (0-120 mph in a few seconds), the Millenium Force, and the Raptor. We rode some "smaller" rides as well that were so much fun. We just laughed our way through the day. I thank the Lord for Christian friends!

Practice Rounds of the PGA Memorial Day Golf Tournament

Dad and I were given tickets to watch the PGA Memorial Day Golf Tournament at Jack Nicklaus's course in Dublin, OH. There are three days of practice rounds before the Tournament begins on Thursday. We were able to see several famous players there. It was such a beautiful course! For all of you who think watching golf is not exciting, try seeing the players live! :) Wow! It was great!

Probably the most well-known golfer we saw was Jim Furyk (yellow). Fluff (his caddy: blue) was Tiger Wood's former caddy. We got Jim's autograph. He was a very nice man!

Some famous players we didn't know. :)

Vacation with the Tangemans

My parent's and I drove down to Gatlinburg, Tennessee this past Thursday to spend some quality time with the Tangeman family. There were 27 of us that stayed in 3-story cabin in the beautiful Smokey mountains. It was such a fun and relaxing time. I thank the Lord for family. On Sunday morning, we went to church at Temple Baptist Church. Pastor Sexton gave a wonderful sermon, and it was a joy to see everyone again.

Crown Reunion!

Over Spring Break, Cathy Henschen came to the greatest state....Ohio! We met Erin Ruwark in Dayton to go shopping and had a wonderful time! For lunch, we decided to eat at the Cheesecake Factory (my first time). While there, we saw Kirk Kirkland, Candace Keegan (and her adorable baby boy), and Bob and Lindsay Mann. Below are some pictures of our
mini Crown College reunion.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Hello! It is hard to believe that Christmas and the whole month of January have come and gone! To bring you up to date, my brother and his wife had a new baby in January. His name is Jadon Lewis and is so adorable! He sleeps the majority of the time, but when he is awake he is even cuter! :)

I have four jobs now, which keeps me busy and is my excuse for not updating my blogspot sooner. Ever since John, Joy and I were 12, 8 and 6 prospectively, we have been skiing and loving it! Our family vacations usually were in the winter and consisted of ski trips to New York, or Michigan. John and Dad have taken a couple trips to Seven Springs in Pennsylvania to "check it out" and make sure it was good enough to bring the girls. Somehow, though, this is the first time any of the girls are going to be able to go. :) SOOOOOOOOO, big news.................. drum roll please...................................Next week, the girls get to go too!!!!! :) Dad, Mom, Joy's family, and I are going to Pennsylvania for a ski trip! HOW EXCITING! I am getting my skis waxed and sharpened next week to be ready to swoosh down those beautiful Pennsylvania ski slopes! What fun!

Well, that's all the big news for now. I hope you have a wonderful evening!
